Tryout Check-in Procedures

1. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to each tryout session.
2. If the player pre-registered online and they have their tryout number (bib), proceed directly to the assigned tryout field to check-in with your designated check-in coordinator. 
3. If the player pre-registered online and does not have their tryout number (bib), go to the replacement tryout bib line.
4. If the player did not pre-register online, go to the walk-up registration line to complete the required tryout registration form and receive your player tryout number (bib).
5. Once at your assigned tryout session field, make sure you check-in with your designated check-in coordinator.  All players must be checked-in.

Tryout Attendance

1. Players must have completed the check-in process and received a player tryout identification bib.
2. Wear apparel that does not identify your current club.
3. Bring a ball, plenty of water and wear shin guards.
4. Players will be evaluated by the Spirit United Staff throughout the tryout session(s). 
5. Players will be notified by the Coach at any point in the tryout session(s) for your team placement. You will be given a placement card that you must bring to the Session Evaluator and then player placement tent to complete, pay your deposit, and secure your spot on the team.
6. If the player does not receive placement during the tryout session, please come to the next tryout session.  Our goal is to find a team for all players looking to join our Club.  Since we have multiple teams in most age groups, we will do our best to place the player on an appropriate level team to allow for a positive soccer year and development. 

Team Placement 

1. To secure your placement, you will need to come to the Player Placement tent. The Player Placement tent will be open during tryouts each day from 5:00pm until 9:30pm.
2. Bring your team placement card issued to you during the tryout session and your GotSoccer player account login information.
3. Your nonrefundable deposit of $395 is required when you come to the Player Placement Tent, payable by cash, check, debit, or credit card. 
4. For the balance of your fees, be prepared to either pay the full cost or select an installment payment plan.
5. Once you have secured your placement, you will receive an email within 14 days to complete additional registration forms. 
6. Uniform package ordering links will be sent via email by early summer to be purchased through Soccer.com. 

In the event of inclement weather

1. If the fields are closed due to inclement weather during a session, all players and parents are invited back to the office to meet with the coaches, complete their player placement and have any questions about the program answered.
2. If a session is canceled due to inclement weather, ACYS will send out a field closure notification via email and social media.  Please assume the tryout session will proceed unless you hear otherwise.
