ACYS Spirit United Competitive Soccer Program
ACYS Spirit United Competitive is one of the fastest growing Soccer Clubs in Central Florida, headed by a Program Director, Director of Coaching, Technical Director and professional coaching staff possessing a wide range of playing experience and coaching licenses from USSF, UEFA and NSCAA. This experienced staff will lead the many competitive programs being offered in the fall: such as the Elite, Premier, Select, and Crossover level programs with our Elite and Premier levels being the most competitive. The Spirit United program has a progression curriculum designed to challenge the individual while maximizing team success in an enjoyable and competitive environment. Our ultimate aim is to develop each player to their full potential using age appropriate coaching while experiencing team success at multiple levels within Spirit United.
The Elite Program curriculum will center on the development and refinement of individual technique across the spectrum of core skills such as passing, ball control, dribbling, finishing, and overall ball mastery. The emphasis on ball familiarity will be delivered through coaches combining detailed instruction, demonstration, and individual exploration. This program is designed specifically for high-level players who will participate in the more competitive tournaments and showcases. Players within this program will practice three to four days per week with professionally licensed coaches and trainers. In order to compete against clubs and teams of the same skill level, additional travel will be required. Lastly, it is recommended these teams compete at the State Cup Level Tournaments within the State of Florida and Florida State League games.

Practice Format
- Three (3) to Four (4) days of team training per week; the coach will also conduct team speed and agility sessions geared for the level of the team.
- Practice sessions are scheduled by age groupings to allow for the following:
- Small sided games and group activities in game scenarios
- Large group training and scrimmages with similar quality skilled teams within and outside of Spirit United.
Membership Fee - $1700.00 annually

Note: In addition to our regular season, ACYS Spirit United teams participate in several tournaments each season that requires additional travel and tournament fees.

The Premier program will provide an environment where players can develop technique, skill, creativity and game-understanding to their full potential. Long-term player development drives all coaching activities at Spirit United and is at the core of the Premier Competitive Program. The Premier Program consists of teams competing at the Region Cup Level Tournaments. All teams that participate in the Premier Program will travel to mostly local tournaments with the added option of some distant travel ones as well. Each team will have the option to practice two days per week with strong dedicated professional license coaches. By developing ‘scholars of the game’, the Premier Program will facilitate the preparation of our young players to compete, achieve and excel at all levels of soccer in Spirit United and beyond.

The Crossover program is a way for Developmental (Recreational) players and/or teams to crossover into the competitive program. It is designed to transition existing players and/or teams into the next level of soccer development. The Crossover program is a fun and convenient way to bring soccer into your child’s life. The Crossover program's goal is to develop coordination, self-confidence, motor skills and elementary soccer techniques in an enjoyable learning environment. Coaching is on a volunteer basis (volunteer may be licensed) allowing players and/or teams to maintain their current coaches or select new ones. Teams within the Crossover program will only compete against other teams at developmental soccer levels, and participate in one (1) day per week training session. In addition, teams can select to add another day per week training session with a licensed club trainer at an additional cost.

Practice Format
- Ages U10 - U13
- One (1) day of team training per week.
- Monday Technical Training session.
- Technical Training sessions are designed and coached by licensed trainers alongside the parent volunteer coaches. These sessions will focus on building each players technical skills, coordination, speed, and confidence. The second day of training day and time will be chosen by your parent volunteer coach.
- Ages U14- U18
- One (1) day of team training per week.
- Optional one (1) day per week licensed training session.

Approved Tournament Participation: Developmental Crossover teams may participate in ACYS Kohl’s Cup, United Cup, and ACYS Cup. All other tournaments must be approved by the Spirit United Program Director and/or Director of Coaching.
